Take part in the RAMIRI seminars!

In partnership with Elettra, Imperial College, the University of Amsterdam and the Adam Mickiewicz University, ELI Beamlines and the Institute and Physics invite you to take part in the RAMIRI seminars. Pioneered by Professor John Wood of Imperial College London, RAMIRI (Realising and Managing International Research Infrastructures) aims to develop a training and networking resource for those involved in the planning and management of research infrastructures (RIs) of international importance, that are based within the European Union and the Associated States.

Building on the success of RAMIRI 1 (2008-2010), RAMIRI 2 will run until the end of October 2012, and will see the project evolve further in the direction of a training and networking environment. As such, RAMIRI is now launching an open competition for places on the RAMIRI Programme in either 2011 or 2012. Successful applicants will be invited to attend two residential workshops where they will have an unparalleled opportunity to learn from, ask questions of and network with experienced RI-management practitioners from around Europe and the world.

The first two workshops will take place in June and October 2011 in Amsterdam and Trieste. Two other workshops will then be organised in 2012 in Trieste and Prague. Don’t miss the opportunity and send your application for a place.

RAMIRI is a European Commission-funded project under Framework Programme 7. For more information on RAMIRI click here.
