Week of Science and Technology

The Week of Science and Technology is the most extensive science festival in the Czech Republic. This year, it will run from 5 - 11 November 2018. ELI Beamlines will organize open days for schools and general public on November 8-11, 2018.

ICXRL 2018

The scope of ICXRL 2018 includes, but is not limited to:

Laser and discharge pumped plasma x-ray lasers
Injection / Seeding of x-ray amplifiers
High order harmonics generation and ultrafast phenomena
X-ray free electron lasers
Novel schemes for (in)coherent XUV, X-ray and γ-ray generation
XUV and X-ray imaging, optics and metrology
X-rays and γ-rays for fundamental science
Implementation of X-ray lasers, XFELs and super-intense lasers
Applications and industrial uses

Researchers’ Night 2018

For the second year, ELI Beamlines will join the event Researchers´ Night and open its doors to the public for this great European celebration of science. It will take place on October 5th, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The topic of Researchers´ Night  2018 is “100 Years of Czech Science”.

Sounds and Rhythm of Japan

ELI Beamlines organize a unique performance from Japan.

St. Wencel’s Fair in Dolní Břežany

On Saturday, 22nd of September, the municipality Dolní Břežany organizes (as every year) St. Wencel’s Fair. The research centre ELI Beamlines will be open for public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Science Festival 2018

An oudoor science-technical lab at Vítězné náměstí (aka Kulaťák) in Prague which presents the science interactively. Come and visit us at the booth of the Institute of Physics of the CAS on 5th September, 2018.
